About Your Instructor

Paducah native, Marci Paris has had a life-long passion for dance and the way it has allowed her to artistically express herself. She began her dance journey at the age of 6. Marci went on to choreograph dance, coach cheerleading and design cheerleading competition routines in our local area. After marrying her husband David and starting a family, Marci knew she had to get back to the one thing that was missing in her life…dance. Three years ago she founded BarreEvolution, a fun and inspiring mosaic of ballet fundamentals, yoga and pilates that encourages core strengthening, body toning and flexibility. Starting in 2017, Marci starting adding Adult dance workshops and dance classes to her business. Marci's philosophy, you are never to old to keep doing what you love! That is why Marci has added Adult Dance Classes to her business.

More recently, Marci has been proud to be a dance instructor for the American Cancer Society's Dancing With Our Stars, to help raise money to help find a cure for cancer. She is proud to be helping again this coming year! Marci is very excited to be participating in this year's Four Rivers Ballroom Association's Star Ball, to benefit this area's Child Watch Association. This time the tables are turned and Marci is the Star, learning a Salsa routine from instructor Jay Brasher and Missy Compton. Another project Marci has, with some fellow friends, brought "Thriller" to the streets of Downtown Paducah, while raising much needed items for Family Services Society! After a very successful turnout, "Thriller on Broadway" will now be an Annual Event for Paducah! A bring Dance to the public eye as a form of art, in a town known for it's Artist Relocation Efforts.
